Expect a wide variety of standing, balancing, core, back bending and hip opening postures that are linked through intelligent sequencing that will leave you feeling light.

The science of yoga is that when a practitioner is focused on the breath and movement, there is little to be stressed out about. This practice quiets the mind and soothes the body, that in turn activates the parasympathetic nervous systems that helps you relax. Plus you increase your brain power by reducing your stress load.

Piggy-backing on above, when the parasympathetic nervous system is nourished, cortisol (your body's stress hormone) levels can be decreased. When cortisol is elevated for long periods of time, it can cause weight gain, and in more extreme cases, adrenal fatigue... which you don't want by the way!
