Food is one of the earthly things that fuels your earthly body. I truly believe that we are what we eat. In that case I am root veggies, leafy greens, tropical fruit, and chocolate :). I absolutely love to create delicious food and shareing it with others. So I have decided to share with you my best and most favorite recipies and right now... there is this OMazing salad that my dear friend made for me nermerious times on my recent trip to costa rica. I will call it....
Hali's Delish Salad!
This recipe also will include a simple yest very good dressing you can make your self. IF you havn't made you own dressings it's time you start.... have you even read the ingrediant list on the side of store bought dressings.... Yuck!
Here we go! This is how we do it:
1/3 cup Olive Oil
1/3 cup Cider or apple cider vinegar
1/4 - 1/8 cup Soy sauce (to taste)
3/4 of a Small to medium size garlic bulb (yes I said bulb!) (Peel garlic)
1/4 tea spoon Himalayan or sea salt
1/4 tea spoon Fresh ground pepper
Put all ingredients into blender. Blend slowly for about 60 seconds or until garlice in chopped. Let stand for at least 10 min before putting on salad.
Kale (remove stems, chop kale leaves in small-ish pieces)
Green lettuce and/or spinach (roughly chop)
green onion and/or red spanish onion (mince)
Red, yellow, and/or orange sweet bell peppers (Cut in half, de-seed, mince peppers. Set aside)
Avacado (Cut in half, take out pit and peel. Thinly slice & set aside)
