But I’m not flexible, how can I do yoga?
Good News!! There is no flexibility required to do yoga! This practice invites you to just be with where you are at in your body in the moment. Whether you feel tight and can’t touch your toes, or you are tired after a long day at work, a regular Yoga practice will yield amazing results. You do not need to know anything about yoga to begin, there is no preparation for beginning, you just step on a mat and be open to a new experience.
Do I need a membership to attend classes?
Great News! You do not require a membership to attend classes Yogadown. However we do have them available if you might be interested. Click here to read more about our memberships.

What types of classes do you offer? Are there any pre-requisites for taking classes at your studio?
We have no pre-requisites for our yoga classes as we have all different levels of intensity. Find out more about the types of yoga we offer by looking at the CLASS TYPES page.
I am a beginner…. what class would you recommend?
We offer several levels of yoga classes. If you are a true newbie we recommend starting off with Gentle, Yin, Restorative or Stretch Tone classes. These are slower paced and great for any level of experience. Beginner Yoga Series are scheduled periodically throughout the year. See if we have any Beginner classes coming up.
What should I wear?
You will want to wear clothes that are non-restricting and that are comfortable to move in. Tank tops, t-shirts, cropped pants and shorts are a common attire at our studio.
What should I bring?
Bring a change of clothes if you are attending a class that will cause you to sweat. You will need a yoga mat, towel and bottle of water. If you do not have these, no worries as we mat and towels rentals for $2 each and sell water bottles also for $2 at the studio.
Is there any etiquette I should know about?

How often should I practice?
For optimal results in gaining energy, decreasing stress and building a strong, pain-free body consistency is the key to success. A practice of 2-3 days per week, if consistent, will create transformation over time. For life-changing results practice 4-6 days per week.
Can I eat before class?
We recommend that you practice yoga on a fairly empty stomach, but a light snack before class like fruit or a granola bar may be just what you need for extra energy.
What about hydration & drinking water during class?
Hydration is very important! We recommend that you stay hydrated every day, and on the days you would like to attend a yoga class, ensure you are hydrated before you arrive. During the class you can sip water when ever you need to.
Can I bring my child to class? People 10 years and under are not permitted to attend a regular drop in classes. This group are to attend classes geared to their age. Click here to find our more about our Kids Yoga Programs .
Please contact us if you would like to request having a younger child in class.
All people age 17 & under must have a waiver & consent form signed by their parent or guardian before attending any class.
Ages 14+ can attend a drop in classes without a parent present but must have Parental consent form signed and can practice in any temperature they are comfortable in.
Ages 10 - 13 must attend drop in classes with their parent, guardian, or someone age 18 or older and are recommended to practice in a non-heated or warm studio.
